Help the Cross Plains community fund a new indoor recreation facility in our town. This facility will be privately funded and will provide a much needed space for people of all ages to stay active and healthy year round. This facility is important to the Cross Plains community because it will provide a safe and accessible place for families and friends to gather and spend time together!
We have already raised over half of the $2.5 Million needed to build the facility, but we still need your help to reach our goal. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and all donations are tax deductible.
All donations given go through Cross Plains Baseball, because they are the non-profit 501(c) 3 organization which allows your donation to be tax deductible. None of the donation goes to Cross Plains Baseball. Your donation strictly goes to building the Cross Plains Rec Center. This truly is a gift for the whole community to enjoy. Finally because it is privately funded it does not affect your Real Estate taxes. It is truly a gift to the community.
Reasons to donate
There are lots of amenities of this facility but here are a few. Pickleball courts, a walking track, a Wellness Center with weights and rowing machines and a turf area for soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, football and could be used for community events.
Some of the community benefits include; a safe and accessible place for people of all ages to stay active, a place for the community to gather and spend time together, a place for children to learn and develop healthy habits, a place for adults to stay active and healthy and a place for seniors to socialize and participate in activities that will help them maintain their independence.
Building this facility even includes some economic benefits. It creates jobs in the construction and operation of the facility. It attracts new businesses to the area, it increases property values in the surrounding area and boosts tourism and recreation spending.
